The grand coalition government could be headed home by the 16th of October this year if president Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga accept a petition by the independent electoral and boundaries commission. The commission chairman Issack Hassan will Friday officially ask the principals to end the country’s anxiety by stating they will end the coalition arrangement in October. But even as Prime Minister Raila Odinga responded swiftly by asking Kenyans not to panic, Justice Minister Mutula Kilonzo insisted that asking Raila and Kibaki to determine the election calendar will only create more confusion.
